sustainability protecting the climate - Hirschen Group

sustainability

WE FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT
THE ONLY WAY TO ACHIEVE
BIG THINGS AND
CREATE A LIVEABLE,
SUSTAINABLE WORLD IS
TO WORK TOGETHER.

That goes for us as a company, but also for society as a whole.

We put people – and all that is required for a sustainable future for humanity – at the centre of all we do. Economically, socially and ecologically.

We are being bold and brave in this endeavour and have set ourselves a big goal:

BY 2025, WE WILL BE THE MOST SUSTAINABLE AGENCY GROUP IN GERMANY.

We believe that the transformation into a more sustainable economy and society, a world that is fit for the future, requires reliability, transparency and communication.

That’s why we advocate and promote dialogue surrounding the issue of sustainability. Both internally and externally. And why we report on our plans and achievements. Like here in our EMAS Environmental Statement

Systematically protecting the environment and climate

We mean it: We are reducing our ecological footprint
systematically across all areas.
With our EMAS environmental management.

SUSTAINABILITY UPDATE 2020

For us, sustainability means future viability in every respect. Economy, social affairs and ecology are interrelated and must be viewed collectively in order to be successful in the long term as a company and as a society as a whole. We have summarized our status quo here in the 2020 sustainability update.

SUSTAINABILITY PRINCIPLES

Sustainability to us means being fit for the future, in every respect. The economy, society and the environment are all interlinked and must be viewed holistically. This is crucial if we want to be successful in the long term – as a company and as a society.

We have ummarized our current progress in the 2020 sustainability update here.

We are partners ...

The Hirschen Group believes it is important to create an appreciative working environment, one that is free of prejudice, where talented individuals are valued because of the work they do – irrespective of their age, gender or gender Identity, ethnic origin, nationality, religion, philosophy, sexual orientation and identity or physical ability. That’s why we signed the Diversity Charter in May 2021.
We are convinced that embracing and embodying diversity, and truly appreciating this diversity, has a positive impact on our society.
Further information on diversity management and the Diversity Charter (Charta der Vielfalt) can be found (in German) at:

The Eco-Partnership is an institution in Hamburg that promotes voluntary action by companies to protect the environment.
As an active partner of the network, the Hirschen Group voluntarily does more to protect the environment and climate than is required by law, for example in relation to company travel, the electricity purchased and the office supplies used.
