Hirschen and 365 Sherpas BPI win central Kaufhaus des Bundes account

Bidding consortium secures framework agreement for a total of 35 federal agencies.

Zum goldenen Hirschen, together with 365 Sherpas BPI, has been awarded the contract for a framework agreement by the “Kaufhaus des Bundes” (Federal Online Procurement Platform) – the central purchasing platform of the German federal administration, based at the Procurement Agency of the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI). Since June, the consortium has taken over the framework agreement for “traditional and digital communication.” The contract term is four years.

Zum goldenen Hirschen Berlin and the Sherpas will in future be responsible for communication and marketing measures across numerous federal ministries and agencies. A total of 35 client entities within the direct and indirect federal administration can access the services of the bidding consortium. The tasks range from strategic consulting and concept development to editorial services and creation, as well as digital measures and social media communication.

“Winning this contract is both confirmation and motivation for us,” says Alexander Lang, Managing Director at Zum goldenen Hirschen and Partner of the Hirschen Group. “Now more than ever, the federal administration faces the challenge of conveying complex topics in an understandable, approachable, and contemporary way. With our expertise and together with our partner, the Sherpas, we are setting out to shape government communication in a modern, digital, and above all citizen-centric manner,” says Lang.

“Public sector communication in all its breadth is a field full of concrete projects with real benefits for citizens – which we promote for all senders under the umbrella of the Kaufhaus des Bundes through campaigns and target-group-tailored messaging. The fact that this win comes right after the merger of 365 Sherpas and BPI impressively demonstrates the strategic and creative strength of our ongoing partnership with the Hirschen Group,” says Charlotte Sievers, Managing Partner and COO of 365 Sherpas BPI, responsible for the Public Sector.

Zum goldenen Hirschen Berlin and 365 Sherpas BPI advise institutional clients such as the European Commission, federal ministries, and subordinate agencies both as a well-established team and individually.
