Strategic communications consultancy 365 Sherpas is restructuring its leadership — a deliberate and consequential step in charting the course for its next stage of development. The goal: to further sharpen and strengthen its position as the leading and most influential consultancy at the intersection of business, politics and society, at a time of profound economic, technological and social transformation.
The new leadership structure is a direct response to growing client demand for direction, specialisation and strong delivery in increasingly politicised markets. In doing so, 365 Sherpas builds purposefully on its established model as a “partnership of minds” — deepening it along two dimensions:
At the strategic level, 365 Sherpas is reinforcing its rigorous specialisation by sector and stakeholder ecosystem. The aim is to anticipate market dynamics, change processes and decision-making patterns with ever greater precision — and to make sense of them for clients.
At the delivery level, the consultancy continues to focus on excellence across its full range of communications disciplines and their effective, increasingly technology-enabled orchestration. In doing so, 365 Sherpas deliberately enhances its clients’ capacity to shape debates, lead campaigns and drive outcomes.
The new leadership architecture establishes clear accountability — both in client advisory work and in business and organisational development.
New Roles at Group Level
Cornelius Winter, who founded the agency in 2013, takes on the role of Executive Chairman. Going forward, he will devote even greater focus to the strategic advisory of companies, senior executives and public figures — particularly in special situations, crisis management and reputation matters — as well as to the long-term positioning of 365 Sherpas.
Jan Böttger, previously Chief Operating Officer, assumes the role of CEO, taking on overall strategic and operational responsibility for the 365 Sherpas Group across its offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne and Brussels. He will lead the strategic direction of the core business, organisational development and the agency’s market positioning.
Dr. Daniel Wixforth, formerly Berlin Office Head, becomes Chief Growth Officer. Alongside his client mandates in the Tech and Industry sectors, he will lead the identification and development of new strategic growth areas across all locations — with a particular focus on geoeconomics, security and internationalisation.
Strengthening the Berlin Founding Office
Following Daniel Wixforth’s move to the group level, the Berlin office is also being refreshed. Charlotte Sievers and Antonia Meyer-Özel will jointly assume leadership of the Berlin office as co-Managing Directors.
Charlotte Sievers, previously Senior Director and office head, steps up to Managing Director. Antonia Meyer-Özel returns from parental leave to continue in her role as Managing Director and office head. Together, they represent continuity, leadership expertise and advisory excellence across both the private and public sectors. They will jointly drive the further development of the Berlin office — with a particular focus on Public Affairs, Corporate Communications, and leadership and talent development.
The central roles of Florian Teipel and Reimund Simon remain unchanged. As Partner, Florian Teipel leads the Industry & Energy practice with a focus on Public Affairs in Germany. Reimund Simon, as Partner and Managing Director, heads the successfully growing Brussels office and oversees the consultancy’s advisory work on European regulatory processes.
